Way to the North – A Nordic Supper
Norway- the land of mountains, the land of trolls. A country that lives up to its name- ‘the northern way’ or ‘Way to the North’. A small country with roughly five million people spread across our lands. A country that found its kingdom in oil. A country that suffered and found its saviour in the simple potato. Its people and their love for old folk tales. A country known for peace, happiness and patriotism.
Way to the North is a devotion to Nordic food, nature and produce. A way to experience the north together, with new found friends over a wonderful meal. A way to celebrate the countries in the Nordic region that is still slightly neglected compared to all of the other wonderful cuisines of the world.
Nordic Workshop & Supper
“A workshop devoted to Nordic food, slow living and new found friends”
Last week I hosted my first Nordic Supper in Oslo- an intimate evening with food and wonderful company. A vision I’ve had for a long time – to create an evening that is more of an experience than anything else. An evening where people come to relax, enjoy good food and discover new found friends. A place where slow living is the main focus- where one would forget the stressful every day life.
A workshop where one can learn how to cook simple, yet delicious Nordic recipes from both old tradition and new. A workshop that entwines the wonderful combination of cooking, photography and slow living.
I am excited to see where this road leads to and you might see more if it in the future!
