This barley porridge is a perfect way to slow down and enjoy your breakfast. We’ve been using all sorts of grains in our cooking for ages- barley is no exeption! It has a beautiful, nutty aroma with a firm bite to it. It takes a bit of time to cook, but it’s damn well worth the wait! It’s both nutritious and delicious – I love serving it warm with milk, nuts and a dollop of honey.
2 dl barley groats
1 l milk
1/2 tsp salt
Milk ( I prefer full fat milk, but optional)
