Don’t you just love lazy mornings and all that comes with it? I justlove that time of day where everything is just waking up- where everything is quiet and calm before the storm. The few times one can actually enjoy breakfast in bed and stay there. That sort of tranquil and peace doesn’t come often in the modern day, but times we should enjoy and savor.
As a summer breakfast I really love cereal and milk- it’s so simple, yet so refreshing.
These were often my summer mornings at my grandparents- at least the granola with cold milk. Oatmeal and whole milk was the best thing I could get- and something they always served me with pleasure. Back in the old days, milk and oats was considered one of the most healthiest foods one could eat- as it was most of Norways produce. Porridge, milk and potatoes. Today it should be a part of a varied and healthy diet.
